week 1
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
Introduction to design studio gave me an understanding of utilizing case studies for design thinking and reflection. LSN Global has shown how practical design for empathy generates a positive impact within society.

The concept of spatial design includes a perception of areas around us and how it orchestrates the flow of our movement between spaces. Every person has a story, a familiar route they use to get to where they’re going. Our routines are what separate us from one another.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
For my first practice, I was supposed to interview the person to find out more about his persona. Basically the background of the shop and who the person is. Instead I only asked about how he comes to work and what time he ends work.

With that I was tasked to focus on an aspect of the interview which I presented about, and I decided it would be on dry goods. Further observation had led me to realise that these dried goods stores are barely visited by younger communities, rather common are the older community groups. I was told that I should draw out diagrams about the life cycle of dry foods, but I did a timeline instead which was satisfactory.

week 3

Design Studio 1A- Ms Micca
Every person has 2 types of personality traits, demographic and psychographic. Demographics are focused on the general details of a person, where they live, how much they earn, how old they are etc. Psychographics are focused on the deeper, emotional understanding of a person and their character, do they listen to music, do they play football, are they artists etc.
Because emotions can determine whether we feel sad or happy it is important to know what a person dislikes, their pain or gain. Understanding personas is one way to connect design and people. It is important to know if they require a specialised product, service, site or brand.
Pains are the problems a user is facing, it can cause a negative emotion or feeling. Gains are the extent in which the user is more positive and happy about something. We were taught empathy mapping to help understand a specific type of person or user and learn more about them by assuming a beginners mindset. The conclusion of the lesson was how empathy drives connection / it is feeling people / it is connecting within myself to understand people / putting myself in their shoes.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
For consultation Mr Jackson pointed out to me about how my articles should be answers to the questions in the research plan. And after telling him about my observations, he suggested how this project seems to be about raising awareness. Essentially the dry foods business in Singapore mainly consists of middle aged to elderly folks, and the younger generations are rarely seen at these types of shops.
My plan is to find a way to make it more of an interesting part of the cultured food business in singapore. For the rest of the lesson we did a personal collage that helped us visualise what we want to focus on for the subjects we picked based on our persona interviews. I was told to enhance my collage by making the vision clearer.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
Design studio on Thursday was similar to Tuesday's consultation. But this time it was OSH we presented our research progress to. Apparently we were supposed to print and showcase in A3 to discuss. So we had to make do with whatever we had. Going through my research to filter out important notes helped me realise that some of my research was a little bit pointless in relation to my subject of interest. I believe the new research which I didn't print was more valuable than the ones I printed.
Presenting in class to OSH helped me bounce off ideas on what I could potentially focus on for the subject of dried foods. It was mainly about how the younger generation such as myself was unaware of the dried foods section at albert centre’s 3rd level. That area teeming with older folk further emphasised how unaware the general public was about the dried food business. A lot of young people do eat dried foods, but it has never been a subject of interest in the food industry.
week 4

Design Studio 1A- Ms Micca
“Synthesis in Design thinking involves creatively piecing the puzzle together to form whole ideas, organising, interpreting, and making sense of the data we have gathered to create a problem statement.”
What is synthesis?
-
A process of sense making
-
Sharing stories and prioritising
-
Creating a coherent summary of what you know so far
The goal is to develop…
-
Consensus across the group
-
A clear journey of evidence for design
Does the insight inspire you to start designing for the problem?
“Problem statement states who you are designing for, brings focus to the needs of the user, establishes a criteria for the success of the solution, and keeps every team member on the same page.”
Three elements:
-
User > Their Needs > Insight
-
Empathy map, Observation, Information

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Design studio on Tuesday had many new things to think about in terms of research. Part of me felt excited that I could move along, but part of me also wished I could have time to relax a little…We were told to create a mindmap and ppt for presenting but I only made a mindmap. Presentation overall was satisfactory, just needed more work in terms of organising the layout of it. I was told to learn more about my product and conduct more interviews. I did however get commended for having a survey of 63 responses within a day though, it was a valuable insight. As for my collage, Mr Jackson had a lot of comments about it, he told me that there were too many things going on so I think I might just take that feedback and go back to my first collage.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For OSH's class, not much of a change in research, but rather touching up a few points for Tuesday's class. Is drying food viable in Singapore? Can smell be a part of the experience? These were some things that I could ponder about for my design concept.

The lasting social change I would like to contribute to is: To be a moral compass for others who need it. Not that I am a righteous person, but with my goal set on people, I will think and live effectively for our society, my peers and myself. I am inherently a selfish person, which is why for me to be supportive of others, means that I can tame my pride.
The key outcome that my design solution is working toward is: Food waste prevention through food preservation (food drying).
Problem definition > Characteristics & Benchmarks / Root causes > Vision > Mission > Strategies
Nothing new to talk about other than more in depth understanding of the core aspects for designing solutions. However, there is an ambition for social change that I am required to think about.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Food drying serves a purpose, it is both to preserve the product for later use and to retain its nutritional benefits. Supermarkets have an existing issue with handling expired products. 40% of Singapore’s food waste is attributed to supermarkets, despite the considerable effort put into making products sellable closer to their expiry. We researched about time lapses, and how key time stamps can be studied individually and when put together, form a unique pattern. I did a time lapse drawing of a sea cucumber, farm to table. Though instead, mine was more of a storyboard. I was told to find out more about food products that can be dried. Also, to find a product that has not been dried before and sold in the supermarket. We were also inspired to mind map with detailed diagrams to showcase our ideas more clearly. Mr Jackson showed us the different kinds of standards we could adopt and get inspired by.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For design studio class, I had prepared some information about supermarkets and how they deal with expired products. It turned into understanding about food waste in our supermarkets. OSH had advised me to understand how vendors in wholesale deal with food wastage as well to draw a proper comparison that would link both worlds of marketing together.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
It's week 6, brief is out… all my intensive research has surmounted to this moment. Tourism, sustainability, factoring in Singapore’s culture to design a space worth exploring and worth interacting with. We presented our bubble diagram and had a short write up about the narrative of our project. The comments were to be clear on what I wanted my project to focus on and represent it through the bubble diagram. To spark our design inspiration however, Mr Jackson gave us examples of architects to look at such as Thomas Heatherwick, Tadao Ando. What separates them from other designers is how they create narratives through their work that blur the lines between functionality and architecture. It was an eye opening lesson of just getting our creative minds working through awe inspiring projects.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
I researched case studies that involve charity initiatives for food waste and the measures of recycling. I also had researched case studies related to upcycling with a project called crust in which they turn leftover bread into beer products. She mentioned that I should think about my site location, if it’s feasible for drying. And how it can tie in with the dried goods market.

week 7
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
It was consultations day, and we had the chance to refine our ideas with Micca. Though what was supposed to be a short session dragged out longer than expected as she went through every one of our ideas trying to comprehend them. To be honest, the consultation didn’t really change my plans on my topic as she didn’t manage to gather my entire progress from week 1. There was a lot of progress to show, so it wasn’t really ideal with the time constraint, especially when there were others who needed to consult with her. I believe my course lecturers had a clearer perspective on what I was doing as they were integral in shaping my project to the stage it was in at the time. But it was nice to have Micca’s opinion on it regardless, and it was good that she did give me some points to think about.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Mr Jackson focused on consultations so that we could finalise our ideas and start thinking about site plans. Based on my site location I realised that the project was vulnerable to pollutants, pests and birds. So I started researching about greenhouses and how I could make them work for food drying as they were mainly for plant growth. Jackson mentioned that my idea to modify a greenhouse with a dehumidifier was unsustainable as it involved extra costs. He told me that my solution should consider budget constraints. He also advised that my research for the site location should consider the sun’s position throughout the day. This didn’t give me a lot of options for where my site could be situated. At this point I didn't understand what I needed to do while everyone else in my class had an idea of what they wanted to do. I remembered feeling lost throughout the lesson only to find a solution with solar greenhouse drying at the end of the day. I ended up consulting Jackson through text and he was kind enough to give me some inspiration and advice through certain informative articles. All I had to do now was focus on where the most suitable place for my site could be.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
OSH’s consultation session was rather interesting for me. I was the last person to consult her as I was trying to find relevant research to present. Henry, a class friend of mine told me that I should sketch and exercise my ideas as that was what he did when he felt lost. So I searched about solar greenhouse dryers and tried to find information on how it works on a smaller scale. More importantly if it could be plausible to design one without the massive scale. I stumbled upon a video that showed a man presenting a small sized solar dryer prototype in the most primitive manner in nigeria. It involved basic glass panels, black aluminium foil, corrugated roof sheets, wood structure and mini fans. This proved that the solar dryer can be built on a small scale with minimal costs. And in fact, research videos I have watched suggest that solar dryers were meant for poor communities to protect and preserve their food. I consulted OSH and shared my findings with her about the drying processes and mode of drying. She directed me to making fruit leathers as actual experiments. And immediately I thought, that's a good idea for a dried food project. Suddenly thoughts of creating a pavilion out of fruit leather came through my mind. OSH also advised me how urban farming is usually done on rooftops as there isn’t much space on the street for projects like this. This takes into consideration that high rise buildings in waterloo would block out the sun. I went to albert centre after class and realised that the building was actually connected to the HDB with a rooftop that had a small community garden and a playground. I knew immediately that this was the place where my project could be suitably held. Ideas of utilising the playground slowly popped into my mind along with the fruit leathers.

week 9
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
Design thinking, Micca brought in 2 guests to talk about their experience in the business of design. Graphic design, freelancing, branding, publishing specifically were the talk of the room. There was also a presentation about their design thinking processes where they define problems, ask and answer their own questions. It's good to understand the audience and reach the audience in a more interesting and welcoming manner. Design should be applied to various parts of society, sometimes companies should incorporate design into their industry. Design isn’t always about visuals, there are many aspects to it that involve creative design. They also published books which utilised deadstock paper, and I think that was quite interesting as both a sustainability aspect as well as a limited edition thing.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Consultation for Tuesday on week 9 was actually quite inspiring considering the banana leather experiment that I showed to jackson. He told me not to focus so much on the drying of the product but more on how the process of making can be featured with tourism. I picked a new site at Albert centre and figured the hawker atrium with the middle staircases would be a suitable insertion for the project. The staircase provides access to level 3 where the dried food market is located leading to project relevance. Jackson thought it was an interesting area to focus on as it showed a clear connection with the place itself and checked out many aspects when it came to the narrative purpose of the project.

week 10
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
Strive or quantity
Push for novelty
Withhold judgement
Forced connections and having new ways to see things helps me open up my creativity to various solutions. For design thinking we were shown a video to watch that talks about how designing is mostly useless unless there is a reason to design for.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
For consultation on Tuesday I showed Jackson my idea for a walk through exhibition/factory like structure with a banana theme. It was met with comments on how I can instead shift my focus to experiential design that will automatically define the structure. He told me to start doing a balloon site model to showcase the geometric location of my project, almost like a site study.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For Thursday design studio, I was sick and couldn’t come to class for consultation or help with the site plan model. I was however still able to consult OSH through MS Teams video call and she opened up the possibility of intuitive designing. This would enable a natural flow of design where one station leads to another via gravity. It would also concur that the design starts at level 3 and ends at level 1. Which I figured was against my project goal. But I figured I could theoretically attract people using level 1 to explore level 3. I also attempted to narrow down my site to a smaller area, helping me to create a better direction with the idea.

week 11
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
Ideation - Empathy
Refreshing on Week 10’s lesson about the ideation and brainstorming session. Creating forced connections is an ideation technique that trains creativity in artists and designers. Micca also gave us a little practice that forced us to bounce ideas around within a certain timing to meet. It was a collaborative brainstorming session where we wrote down our own ideas while add on to others’ design comcepts.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Jackson revealed to me that I was taking a step backwards. He mentioned that my design intervention felt contradictory with what I had planned initially for my narrative of the project. It was in a poor location, and the manner in which the execution process would take place was not achieving the goal of leading people up to the wholesale market. The process itself was too bland for it to be a unique and engaging experience. I decided i would develop a better plan for the experience overall and the location should shift to a better position in the Albert centre atrium.

week 12
Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Consultation with Jackson had me rework my design on the concept to better highlight the process of banana leather production. My design first involved a conveyor system to deliver bananas through the atrium, but the input I got from Jackson was to have a single conveyor system that runs throughout. He challenged me to be more conscious and thoughtful in the way I design how the belt weaves through the atrium and creates zoning to highlight each process.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
Design Studio: OSH’s consultation was fair such that she gave me an option to consider when I design the interactivity of my process. It was more about understanding how the facility will operate with the systems in play , how it will work with machinery and what part of the process can offer good participation.

week 13
Design Studio 1A - Ms Micca
Design Thinking:
-
Failing Forward: Picking up on failures and progress through learning, a conscious process that first requires us to give up the obsessive need to be perfect.
-
Storyboarding: Storyboarding helps us to convey how the story will flow and create a good concept to help with the motivation behind the designing.
-
Character = Persona map/interviews and plot impact goals system map
-
Design should be human centric
-
Prototyping: Understands the problem better, get feedback quickly and design different iterations to create a singular well rounded product. Prototyping is testing the design and not the user, so put that in mind that the design will have to be improved and changed.
-
User testing: Make sure users know what the prototype and test is about, but do not over explain how it works. This is so they can have a completely honest opinion about the product and it will prove that the product works.
-
Observation feedback: While collecting feedback, make sure that the feedback can be recorded in an analytical way that properly self explains the interactions with the product.
-
Self criticise: It encourages users to express their judgement without the fear of being judged, wrong or impolite.
-
Observe: Observe the way users use the prototype and understand it, mistakes are valuable learning opportunities.

Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
Design Studio: For consultation, I showed Jackson my isometric design drawing and gave me feedback on my placement and the process of the machinery to improve the design spaces and create an exploded design. He also told me that the conveyor system I was designing had to have a connection and purpose with each area it passes through.

Design Studio 1A - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
When I showed OSH my design she gave me advice on the execution of the model and the materials used, and she mentioned how my design can connect more with the public walking through the space. Also… A big mention and much love for Monica from the model making workshop as I consulted her as well for the overall design process of the model. Monica has been a really helpful advisor to the model making process as well and I am grateful for her input through her teaching and guidance.

week 14
Design Studio 1A - Mr Jackson
I showed Jackson my drawing and he mentioned how I should consider making it wheelchair friendly to the public. When it comes to practicality and being focused on community I believe it will be quite good to include. Comments on the design of the structure still felt unnecessary in some areas just for ascension purposes. So I need to tighten and refine the design as a whole. But I think the main priority should be focused on the machinery right now, as that is what the whole interactive process revolves around.

week 1
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
Autocad is challenging to learn, with various tools to get used to. As someone who utilised the Adobe suite, notably photoshop and illustrator, my muscle memory was more accustomed to them. However, autocad does make point measurement and precision drawing easier.
week 2
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
Still have yet to wrap my head around Autocad. After more teaching on the tools of autocad we were tasked to practice some exercises. Still a tedious program to get used to even when it isn’t crashing… I plan to study and practice more when I have the free time.
week 3

Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
For drawing and making, we were tasked to measure and sketch the dimensions of wing B 05-02 classroom using measurement tape on a piece of paper. A classmate of mine had experience of this in Indonesia so I let him take charge of measurement. As we were doing the sketch, I realised how inaccurate mine was as opposed to my fellow peers. Some of us even wanted to go into detail by measuring the keyboards and the PCs.
After that we were asked to take a picture of 5th level’s floor plan and recreate 05-02 based on the measurements on the sketch using autocad. We were taught how to properly utilise autocad for it, so I think it was one of the more practical lessons that required our physical self to create a digital drawing.

Drawing & Making - Mr Jackson
For Mr Jackson's class on drawing, we were tasked to design a city based on rough text excerpt from a book called "Einstein's Dreams". It was this metropolis where everything was moving at a extremely fast pace. This was a collaborative drawing where everyone would draw a building and roads on tracing paper overlapping isometric paper to help with perspective accuracy. We were told to touch it up as the weeks went on so that it would become a much bigger project.
week 4
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
Today’s autocad was pretty fun, doing precise measurements and drawing digitally was satisfying. I also learned how to create tiles and hatching (essentially, the fill tool). We finished our computer lab plan doing both the floor and the ceiling.

week 7
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
For Ron’s class we barely did anything new other than learning about the legend and setting up the file for print though we are about to sketchup soon.
week 9
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
For drawing & making we learnt and did a practice on sketchup that taught us the basics of the 3D program. It’s actually rather digestible and feels quite easy to get used to. A shame that I didn’t have access to the full program at the time because the IT personnel hadn’t permitted my account for usage which is strange. I hope soon I’ll be able to access it though.
week 11
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
We learnt about the 3D warehouse, a built in custom models sharing platform. Its basically to search for existing models people have made and uploaded for personal usage which comes in handy when making an interior look more fancy.
week 13
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
Computer modelling: In Ron’s class we continued the practice on sketchup modelling by learning more about the 3D warehouse extension and understanding how to download an alternative software called podiums that contains alternative resources at our disposal for sketchup.
week 14
Computer Modelling - Mr Ron
Computer modelling: We were refining our interior design and learning podiums rendering to create scenes within a space. Ron mentioned it would be beneficial to our portfolio, I agree totally. I had a lot of fun trying to find more furniture to put into the design and make them aesthetically similar.

model_making
week 1

Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For our first week of model making we were tasked to design a model in one hour using whatever materials we could think of. The model was meant to be a reflection of myself, how I view myself and the impressions I might give for people who meet me.

week 2

Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For the lesson with OSH we were tasked to take 6 pictures of interesting kinds of architecture that had a certain line aesthetic. This was so we could draw line drawings that would turn into the top view of a structure. From there we were tasked to design a playground, house or pop up store. I went with the playground as it seemed like the easiest to think about.

week 3

Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
OSH modeling class also helped me rethink my model making to create something that can be appreciated from all directions. We were told to refurbish or recreate our model for practical purposes (playground, house, pop up store). I chose a playground because of how abstract it can be. Drawing the sketch using pencil and paper was harder for me because I haven't really drawn seriously for a long time, so I decided to use Adobe illustrator to do my model illustration.

week 4

Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
It was week 4 and I couldn’t even finalise a design for week 5's submission. I knew there was a sense of character and personality that was missing from my design but I couldn't understand why. I decided on a new approach, to see the model from a different angle. Not just from the drawing perspective but from the product.
I decided to sketch house designs. I incorporated comments of my half done model to the sketch, and it was to unify the elements while sticking to a theme. I may still end up taking the comments and finishing the playground but only time will tell as I’m still undecided.
week 5
Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
In model making, we learnt about organic forms and the type of influence it can form. The lecture involved the understanding of natural structures where architects have been constantly looking to for creative inspiration. We were also given a specific organic subject to study about. Mine was the Lattice Stinkhorn, a mushroom that pollenates similarly to bees except with flies as its pollenators. The pattern of the stinkhorn resembles that of a net, and my task was to create an abstract structure with the understanding of its features without having it being completely organic. I immediately thought of the foam net used to protect fruits from fall damage as my pattern and material. I found coconuts in Fairprice with huge foam nets, perfect for a strong influence of the structure. We were also tasked to create a hybrid of another person’s subject with our own as a term 2 final model making project.
As for my foam model making submission, comments about it were positive and OSH was pleasantly surprised with my outcome. In her words she referred to it as a “drastic improvement” from what she had seen before. I switched from doing a playground to a house concept inspired by sou fujimoto. It's a minimalistic translation of interiors with an open concept for movement and interaction within spaces.

week 6
Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
I was tasked to sketch my ideas and create forms that incorporate the characteristics of bismuth and Lattice stinkhorn. Organic models have been submitted and my task now involves developing a hybrid model of a pavilion based on stinkhorn and bismuth. I plan to incorporate the structure of bismuth while creating openings to imitate the net form of the stinkhorn. I was showing OSH research for my project involving several interviews with vendors at albert centre market. It was to understand the historical elements of the people at the market and find out why the older community goes there in general.

week 7
Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For model making class, OSH brought some flexible bamboo rattan for us to try out to experiment with making frame models. I used the rattan in the same way that I used the paper planes, and it was to cut them up and paste them almost like a deconstructional method of architecture. I honestly feel like there was something missing from my pavilion when I was trying to design it with an arch-like theme. It might be because I was just winging it, or I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do yet. OSH didn’t seem too impressed with my model as she didn’t really have anything interesting to say about it. But she gave me some advice on how I could actually design the frame model in a manner of a singular plane. And for the paper model she told me to understand pleating methods on how I could incorporate it into my designs. I do feel like I was sticking too much to the plane deconstructional theme and I realised I should expand it more.

week 9
Drawing & Making - Ms Ong Sheng Hua
For model making, OSH was happy with the way I did my pavilions and especially the photography involved with it. She told me that the models are made nicely but the frame model could use more of the repetitions to make it look more interesting. Overall I think it went well.

week 1

Theory & History - Ms Georgette
Design and art theory aims to provide a systematic approach to design thinking. By using the OPINE concept, an effective formula of study is used to analyse artworks. The things we see and how we interpret them could all very well be based on our experiences within the world around us.
week 2
Theory & History - Ms Georgette
For design theory we played Kahoots in Ms Georgette’s class as a form of fun recap for week 1’s class. This week, the lesson focused on historical civilisations which had their own system of determining factors related to law, time etc. There was also an educational video we had to watch that helped me understand how each civilisation differed from another whilst pushing new ground for innovation.
week 3

Theory & History - Ms Georgette
For Design Theory class we were assigned to groups for mini presentations on the different artistic periods/movements. My team’s topic was Realism and I was grouped with Kim, Verlynn and Saachi. I was tasked into finding 1-2 important artworks from the realism period so I went for the leading artist of realism painting Jean Courbet. Selected 2 of his paintings as my key artworks. Later in the week I also chose the “The Thinker” sculpture done by a french realist artist as another example so that there was variety in the medium. The day of the presentation came and my mic couldn’t work lol.
I tried to connect via my phone but there was a continuous echo. But Georgette was super kind and understanding, she just asked me to type out my part of the explanation in the chat box instead. For that day’s lesson we were tasked to pick a quote from a youtube video that we could connect with within our domain.

Lesson was focused on the understanding of different artistic movements. Because of spatial design, I felt cubism, constructivism and modernism were my chosen topics I wanted to find out more about.
Today's lesson didnt particularly have any takeaway. There was however, a short exercise on how modernism and contemporary art and science drove it. It was a partnered project, of which my partner did all the talking, I felt carried. Though I found Yeezys to talk about, but it only came at the last minute with barely any preparation.
week 5
Theory & History - Ms Georgette
Design theory lesson had us watching a clip from a Singaporean drama “ IloIlo '' to test our observation skills. The task was to observe how the costume designers wanted to represent the characters’ personalities through their clothing. It was good exercise to help hone our observation skills.
week 6
Theory & History - Ms Georgette
We learnt about pictograms and were told to design an Olympic logo in our groups and with our assigned sport inspired by Singapore. Me, Kim, Verlynn and Saachi worked in our group to try and define archery. It was a fun little practice to test our creativity and it helped me to think on my feet.
week 9
Theory & History - Ms Georgette
Design theory this week had a guest speaker on zoom, lo and behold it was Jennifer, the NAFA librarian. She talked through with us and gave us an educational lecture about the importance of clarity in creative writing using various practices and case studies. There was also a section of the zoom session where she would demonstrate citations in the Harvard way. Overall this week’s lesson was about the manner writing and how we can be trained to write in more creative ways.
week 10
Theory & History - Ms Georgette
For DTH Ms Georgette got us to start consultations with her about our topics by first looking at our meta model. She told us to create mind maps related to the 5 Ws so she can understand our projects better. Georgette would then leave comments for us to think about and give us project relevant references that can potentially inspire our design process.
